aws eks update-kubeconfig --name
aws eks update-kubeconfig --name <cluster>
Risk: Safe
What it does
Adds an EKS cluster to your kubeconfig, so kubectl can reach it.
When to use it
After an EKS cluster is made. Then check kubectl's current context.
Example
$ aws eks update-kubeconfig --name my-eks-clusterPrints the updated context and the kubeconfig file.
$ aws eks list-clustersList your EKS clusters. Each one bills by the hour.
