Signs in through IAM Identity Center and keeps short-lived badges for the CLI.

When to use it

Each day you use the CLI with an Identity Center profile.

Example

$ aws sso login --profile my-dev-profile

Sign in at the front desk with these settings.

$ aws configure sso

Set up a new Identity Center profile, step by step.

$ aws sso logout

Sign out and clear the cached badges.
