You will learn: what RDS does for you, how Multi-AZ saves you, and how to keep the database in back.

Tap each point on the timeline.

      Try it

The database lives in a private row. Only the app group, sg-app, may use port 5432. Not even your laptop.

Set the door guard's rules. Only the right visitors get in.

      Go deeper (optional)

Deleting a database is careful work. RDS offers a final snapshot first, and deletion protection can block mistakes. Snapshots cost storage too, so delete old test ones. For practice, pick the smallest size, one wing, and delete it the same day.
