RED and USE

You will learn: one short checklist for services (RED) and one for machine parts (USE).

The problem

Two problems at once. The checkout service is slow. The stove is too hot. Use one checklist for both?

For every service, ask RED: Rate, Errors, Duration: three questions for every service.: Rate, Errors, Duration. Tap each letter.

For a machine part, ask USE: Utilization, Saturation, Errors. Show the stove’s utilization.
